Guinness World Record!

Hello Everyone,

After a few days of sleep I wanted to say thank you to everyone who made my month long journey staying on AirTran possible. It was one of the most incredibly months of my life.

On June 30th in Atlanta I was presented a Guinness World Record for most scheduled flights, 135, in one month. I still can hardly believe it.

AirTran for my last day put my face on the plane. The only others to have such an honor were Danica Patrick and Elton John. It was unreal.

It still feels strange being on the ground. My body was in pain for the first few days, but I’m feel a lot better.

The coolest thing during the month was getting to meet such incredible passengers, flight attendants, pilots, and countless hundreds of AirTran workers who made the project possible.

Some highlights that come to mind:
-racing remote control cars with Danica Patrick in Richmond, VA. We don’t have to talk about who won.
-learning fly fishing in Seattle
-being thrown a tarmac pool party in Charleston, SC
-Captain Bob helping me overcome my fear of flying.
-AirTran’s Tad Hutcheson presenting me with A+ Elite Status. Normally it takes people a year. I did it in only a few days.
-The Flint, MI fire department hosing me off on the tarmac.

Talk to you all soon!
